| Alumni of the Mount Baker Ballet and the Nancy Whyte School of Ballet have achieved many great things both on and off the stage. We are very proud of our former dancers and enjoy hearing from them. They frequently tell us how their years at the Nancy Whyte School of Ballet gave them the poise and training that made the difference in their lives. Many of our alumni are now parents with children studying at the Nancy Whyte School of Ballet, or as company members of the Mount Baker Ballet. We include here a few recent items received regarding our alumni. Alumni News Items should be sent to isadorables@msn.com |

| If you were present at evening Adult Ballet classes, twenty or so years ago, you may recall an extremely gifted dancer participating named Jane. She quickly moved from the evening class to join the advanced Saturday morning class of the Mount Baker Ballet. Her fellow dancers at the Nancy Whyte School of Ballet recognized Jane's obvious talent, but probably didn't realize they were dancing with an alumni of the United Kingdom's Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and a member of the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing. Jane Gordan Ball has continued both her professional association and friendship with Nancy Whyte over the years. She has helped in many behind the scene roles on various Mount Baker Ballet productions, she instructs at the Nancy Whyte School of Ballet and her daughter studies advanced ballet and pointe with Nancy Whyte. This winter, on Wednesday evenings at 7pm beginning January 24th, Jane Gordan-Ball will be teaching Adult Beginning Ballet at the Nancy Whyte School of Ballet. This is a wonderful opportunity for adults with little or absolutely no experience in dance to discover the joy of ballet while building strength and flexibility. It is also an ideal circumstance for our alumni dancers, whose toe shoes have been gathering dust, to return to ballet, regain their ballet body and reclaim their love of dance!
