Wilson Toyota features Mount Baker Ballet on television
The historic Mount Baker Theatre has been a venue for performances of the Mt. Baker Ballet on numerous occaisons over the past 30 years. Last spring the Bellingham based ballet company shared the Mt. Baker stage with an unusual guest, a 2007 Toyota Camry. Handcrank Films was producing a television commercial for Wilson Toyota in Bellingham which is currently airing on Comcast Cable and on KVOS TV. The Cartwright Creative Group is credited with this innovative idea promoting both Wilson Toyota and the regional dance company Mount Baker Ballet. Bellingham Herald photographer Philip A. Dwyer was on hand and took a beautiful color photograph of the Mount Baker Ballet dancers onstage with the 2007 Toyota Camry during the filming.
